DO:

  • Store your coffee in a dry place away from heating vents or extreme cold
  • Use good-tasting water. If required, use a water filter
  • Use good coffee brewing equipment with a quick brew process
  • Use a thermal carafe if warming for over 20 minutes
  • Coffee remains fresh for 60 minutes in a Thermal carafe
  • Use the recommended amount of coffee
  • Clean the decanter every day
  • Use quality paper filters
  • Clean brewing equipment once per week

    DON’T:

  • Don’t mix fresh brewed coffee with previously brewed coffee
  • Don’t brew over previously used coffee grounds
  • Don’t “bake” coffee – 20 – 30 minutes maximum for an open pot
